Description

Church View is a house with origins dating back to the 17th century, featuring later additions and alterations, including a refacing from the early 19th century and a range at the rear. The building is constructed of reddish-brown brick in Flemish bond, with magnesian limestone rubble at the rear, topped by a pantile roof. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. There is a rendered plinth, and the central entrance consists of a late 20th-century part-glazed door. The windows include 12-pane Yorkshire sashes beneath cambered heads with stone sills, and there is a casement window on the first floor to the right. The eaves are dentilled, and there are pairs of diagonal end stacks with brick bands.
