Description

Woodside Cottage is a house that was formerly a village school, reputedly dating from the early 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed from magnesian limestone and features a cast-tile roof and brick stacks. The building has a U-shaped plan with a lobby entry and stands two storeys tall, with three first-floor windows. The entrance is off-centre and includes a 20th-century porch with a glazed door. Throughout the cottage, there are 12-pane casements, along with ridge and end stacks. The interior includes some chamfered beams.
