Description
Holly Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century, which was restored around 1980. It is constructed of pink gritstone and features a pantile roof with an eaves course of stone slates. The building has two storeys and three bays, with stressed quoins. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door set within a moulded architrave, and there are similar keyed surrounds for the flanking and first-floor windows, which are 16-pane sashes; the upper floor windows are shallower. To the left, there is a shaped kneeler and gable coping, along with end stacks. An attached range to the right is not of special interest. The rear facade, which faces the street, has a 20th-century door and windows added.
