Description
Baptist Church, built in 1822, features a front made of painted brick in Flemish bond, complemented by paired modillion eaves and iron-clamped guttering. The right side and rear are constructed from pink and cream mottled brick in English bond. The church has a hipped slate roof adorned with wrought-iron corner scrolls. It is two stories tall with a three-window front. The central entrance consists of double doors with raised-and-fielded panels, topped by a tall radial-glazed fanlight. The other windows are radial-glazed sashes with painted stone sills. An iron boot-scraper is located to the right of the door. At the rear, there is a full-height pent extension situated between single-storey pent outbuildings, with round-arched radial-glazed sash windows flanking the central extension.
