Description

26 Market Place is a house from the mid-18th century. It is built of coursed squared stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and consists of one bay. To the right of the bay, there is a six-panel door with a stone surround. The ground and first floors each have a four-pane sash window, while the second floor has a two-pane sliding sash window. All the windows are fitted with lintels and stone sills. The house also has a shaped kneeler, ashlar coping, and an end stack on the right.
