Description
The Croft is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed from sandstone ashlar and topped with a graduated stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features four bays. The building has a plinth and quoins on either side of the three right-hand bays. In the third bay, there is a four-panel door with an overlight set in a plain stone surround, flanked by sash windows. The left-hand bay contains a basket-arched carriageway with a keystone and wrought-iron gates. On the first floor, there are four 4-pane sashes, with the window in the third bay being blind. All windows are framed with plain stone surrounds. The right end of the building has a shaped kneeler, ashlar coping, and a stack, with a ridge stack at the top.
