Description

The Kings Head Hotel is a hotel built in the early to mid 18th century. It features coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building has seven bays and stands three storeys tall, with quoins at the corners. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, all set within a moulded stone surround. The ground and first floors have four-pane sash windows, while the second floor contains twelve-pane side-sliding sashes, except for the central window, which has four panes. All windows are framed with plain surrounds. The building is topped with shaped kneelers and ashlar coping, and it has end stacks as well as two ridge stacks.
