Description

The Market Cross is a medieval structure located in Masham Market Place. It is made of stone and ashlar and features a four-step podium. The cross has a tall octagonal shaft with a chamfered projecting band near the top, a frieze, and a band, culminating in a conical capstone topped with a ball finial.
