Description
The wall bounding the footpath on the south side, which runs from the gate piers just west of the houses on Harrogate Road to Skell Cottage, is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed of pebbles and features two bands of hammer-dressed limestone courses, along with hammer-dressed limestone coping. The wall has hammer-dressed limestone quoins and stands approximately 8 feet high, dropping to 4 feet high just west of Ivy House.
