Description

Ivy House is an early 19th-century brick house with ashlar dressings, situated on the north side of Borrage Green Lane in Ripon. It is three storeys high, with a basement, and features continuous sill bands. The front elevation has three bays, with sash windows containing glazing bars, and blind dummy windows to the central bay, all set within ashlar voussoirs. The front door, in a pilastered ashlar doorcase, comprises six fielded panels and an oblong fanlight.

Inside, the first-floor staircase is contemporary, with a swept moulded handrail and a closed string. A rectangular beam with roll moulding is also present. The doors feature six fielded panels.
