Description
Richardson's Drinking Fountain is a drinking fountain built in 1758. It is made of ashlar stone and features rusticated piers that flank a central small round-headed niche. This niche contains a broken spout and a semi-circular bowl supported by a small bracket. Above the niche is a shallow pediment inscribed with the words "THIS WELL WAS GIVEN FOR THE USE OF THE PUBLIC BY W RICHARDSON ESQ MD 1758," which is flanked by acroteria.
