Description
The wall bounding the footpath on the west side of Harrogate Road runs from Borrage Bridge to the corner of Borrage Green, then continues along the north side of Borrage Green to just east of Ivy House. This wall is likely from the early 19th century and is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone along Harrogate Road. Just before reaching the corner of Borrage Green, the material changes to pebble, featuring two bands of hammer-dressed limestone courses and ashlar coping. The wall stands approximately 3 feet high.
