Description
This is an 18th or early 19th century property located on the southeast side of Low Skellgate in Ripon. The building is constructed of pink brick with a pantiled roof and stone slate eaves. It is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays. The upper floor features two Yorkshire casement windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars and stucco keystones. A door with four moulded panels and a keystone provides access to the property. A mid-19th century shop window is present, featuring an elaborate wooden frame including pilasters with chevron-patterned panelling. A narrow, fourth bay, set back slightly from the main elevation, provides entry to number 25, and has a slate roof and a segmentally arched window on the first floor.
