ASKWITH WEST LANE SE 14 NE (north side, off) 10/13 Quarry House and attached farm buildings GV II

House, stables, barn and byre range. Mid - late C18. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof. 2-storey, 2-bay house with attached 4-bay outbuildings to left and projecting 3-bay barn and byre range far left. Quoins. House: central board door in plain stone surround flanked by 3-light mullion windows, the mullions removed and casement windows inserted. Two 3-light flat-faced mullion windows in stone surrounds above. End corniced stacks. Outbuildings to left: 4 stable and byre doors, that to right reduced to a window; 4-pane window far left. First floor: 2 pitching doors left. Projecting barn, east side: double board doors to cart entrance, bay 2, with quoined jambs and shallow segmental arch. Byre door left. Rear: similar opposing cart entrance and byre door left. South gable: pitching door flanked by slit vents in gable. Shaped kneelers and gable copings to gable ends of barn and house range. Interior, barn has queen-strut roof. House interior not inspected.
