Description
This is a house located at 45 Greengate, dating from the early 19th century with some alterations made in the late 19th century. The front and right side of the house are rendered, while the rear is constructed from pink and cream mottled brick. It features a moulded timber eaves band and a pantile roof with a coped gable and a shaped kneeler on the right side. There are brick stacks positioned at the right end, as well as at the center right and left rear.
The house is two stories high with a four-window front. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, which is situated under a flat hood supported by brackets to the left of center. On either side of the door, there are paired single-pane sashes, and a single-pane sash is located at the right end. The first floor has four single-pane sashes. All windows are equipped with painted stone sills, and each opening has painted wedge lintels.
