Description
No 3 on Bridge Street is a shop building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a pantile roof with a brick stack. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays. The late 19th-century shop front includes five fluted pilasters that support a moulded cornice and fascia. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars, while the second floor features unequal 9-pane sashes, all set beneath stucco wedge lintels. The eaves are stepped, and the gable has coping with shaped kneelers. There is a ridge stack on the right side, which is shared with the adjacent No 3.
