Description

This is an 18th or early 19th century cottage range, comprising numbers 10 to 12 on Hall Garth. It is built of coursed rubble with a pantile roof, and has four brick stacks. The building has beak eaves and four windows. The windows are sash windows without glazing bars. The ground floor has four windows with narrow lintels. The doors have narrow lintels and rectangular fanlights; one door is blocked. Number 10 has two windows on each floor, with narrow lintels, and features a modern four-light mullion and transom window. The door is of four fielded panels. The building forms a group with numbers 1 to 3 (The Horse Shoe Public House), numbers 5 to 13 (Ivyleigh) and number 15, numbers 16 to 22. Numbers 1 to 3, 5 and 6 are considered buildings of local interest.
