Description
Town End Farmhouse is a building that combines two houses into one, dating from the early 18th century and mid 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with pantile roofs and stands two storeys high, featuring a 1:2 arrangement of first-floor windows. The older section on the right has a central boarded door, with a side-sliding sash window on each floor, both topped with flat arches. It also has stepped string courses and eaves courses, which are interrupted by the first-floor windows, and a raised verge on the right side. There are end stacks on this part of the building. The later section is taller and has a boarded door on the right, along with a tripartite sash window on each floor. This section includes an eaves band, a raised verge, and an end stack on the left.
