Description
Ashgrove is a cottage built in the early to mid 19th century. It features grey-brown brick in Flemish bond and has Welsh slate roofs. The building has a triple-depth plan and is a single storey with two bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door beneath a fanlight that has decorative glazing bars set in a round-arched opening. The cottage includes sash windows with glazing bars, ashlar sills, and internal shutters. The eaves overhang, and there is ashlar coping on the left side. The right side has a hipped roof and chimney stacks on all three gables to the left. The right return of the building has three bays that are divided by brick pilasters.
