Public house incorporating 2 former dwellings. Early C18 to early C19 with some alterations. Flemish bond brown brick, rendered; grey slate roofs. 3 storeys; a double-fronted public house plus two 1-bay houses. Each former property is described separately. The original public house, left, has 2 stone steps to 6-panel door in timber case with small hood on consoles. A replaced window to each side, probably 1900s, leaded, with one pane below transom and 3 above, in moulded surround. 2 nearly flush 16-pane sashes to each upper storey have painted stone sills; simple cornice; flush gable chimney, left. The 2 former houses, right, have stone steps to doors of 6 fielded panels in timber cases, that to right pedimented; a flush sash, glazing bars removed, to each storey of each house; the left house has a 2 course first-floor band and a second-floor band of one course oversailing 2 courses; painted stone sills; cambered brick heads to ground and first floors of both houses; chimney behind ridge. Rear outshuts and INTERIOR have no publicly visible features of special interest.
