Description

This is an early 19th-century town house with an associated garden wall. The house is built of smooth render and has a grey slate roof. It is two storeys high and double-fronted. The ground floor has a nearly flush 12-pane sash window. A replaced half-glazed door, consisting of 6 panes above two fielded panels, is centrally located, flanked by horizontally sliding sashes of 9 panes to the left and 12 panes to the right. Slender iron columns support an oriel above the doorway. To the right is a round-arched entry. The first floor features a large mid-19th century oriel, with a nearly flush 16-pane sash facing forward, and 12-pane sashes to each oblique face. It has a shallow-pitched hipped slate roof. Further 9-pane sashes are located on either side. A cornice and a single course of painted stone form the parapet, with a chimney situated to the right of the centre. The interior has not been inspected. The garden wall and octagonal gate piers are similar in style to those at Number 133 Boughton.
