Description

Langdale House is an 18th-century building located on Castlegate. It is constructed of coursed stone and has a new pantile roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The gable ends are stone coped and feature kneelers. The house has two storeys, with two windows on each floor that have segmental arches and triple keystones. The windows are hung sashes with glazing bars. To the left, there are rusticated quoins, and the building has a rendered plinth. The central door has six fielded panels and is topped by a rectangular fanlight with two lights and a triple keystone. Langdale House is part of a group with No. 24.
