Description
Willow Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with alterations and extensions made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone with brick end stacks and has pantile roofs. The building features a 2-storey, 2-window front from the 18th century on the right side, and a higher, 2-storey, 3-window extension on the left side. The 18th-century front has an off-centre board door beneath a painted timber lintel, flanked by 4-pane sash windows with cambered arches made of voussoirs. The first floor has similar windows with timber lintels, and all windows have painted stone sills. The extension includes a central 4-panel door beneath a divided overlight, with 4-pane sash windows on either side; the first floor has similar windows, with the centre one being blind. All openings in the extension feature incised keyblock lintels, and all windows have painted stone sills.
