Description

This is a milestone dating from the mid 19th century, located approximately 20 metres to the west of the Devonshire Arms in Bolton Abbey. It is made of stone and has a triangular section. The left face is inscribed with the word 'SKIPTON', while the right face bears the inscription 'BOLTON ABBEY'.
