Description
Rose Cottage and Ivy Cottage are two cottages dating from the 18th century. They are constructed of ashlar and rubblestone, topped with graduated stone slate roofs. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of three bays. On the ground floor, there is a board door to the left of the left-hand bay and another board door to the right of the central bay. To the right of the central bay, there is a blocked doorway. The left-hand bay features a two-light recessed flat-faced mullion window, while the central bay has a similar window with three lights. The right-hand bay has a modern casement window in a plain surround. On the first floor, the right-hand bay has a two-light recessed flat-faced mullion window, the central bay has a similar window with three lights, and the left-hand bay has a 12-pane side-sliding sash window in a plain surround. There is an end stack to the right and one at the ridge.
