Description

No.14 Wheelgate is an early 19th-century house, later used as a bank. The front facade is rendered and features a fasciated timber eaves cornice, coped gables, shaped kneelers, and brick end stacks rising from a pantile roof. The house has a three-story, two-window front. A late 19th-century shop front is present with plain pilasters and a moulded cornice resting on grooved consoles; a 20th-century shop window and door have been added. All windows on the first and second floors are single-pane sashes with painted stone sills.
