Description

Three cottages. Dated 1837. Built of roughly-cut rubble stone with stone dressings and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and five bays wide. The entrance to Rosedale has a plain surround and a 1970s six-panel door. Entrance to North Cottage and North House each have plain surrounds and C20 half-glazed doors. A carriage entrance to the right of centre has plain jambs, chamfered voussoirs, and a keystone bearing the date. There are four ground floor and five upper floor windows, each with a plain surround and sash windows with glazing bars, except for the left-hand bay which has sash windows on both floors. The corners are defined by quoins. Left-hand and right-hand ridge stacks are present.
