Description

Reading Room Cottage is a schoolroom, later converted into a house, dating from 1841. It is constructed of limestone rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The building is single-storied and features a central entrance with a board door flanked by pointed casement windows. A datestone from 1841 is above the door, partially obscured by creeper. The roof has gable coping and shaped kneelers, with a stack at the right end.
