Description
Witham Cottage is a row of cottages that has been converted into a single house, built in 1857 for the Norcliffe Estate. The building features hammer-dressed limestone and a Welsh slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has four first-floor windows. The entrance includes a six-panel door, with one casement and two pointed casements to the left, and one casement to the right. Although the inscription panel is blank, there is an inscription below that is obscured by creeper, which reads "General Norcliffe 1857." The first floor has a pointed casement window. The building has gable coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks. It is included in the listing for its group value.
