Description
The Old Cottage is a house built in the mid-18th century, with some remodelling done in the 20th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar, with a service wing made of hammer-dressed limestone, and features a pantile roof. The house has a central entrance, with a service wing to the left and a cross wing at the rear. It is two storeys high and has four windows on the first floor. The entrance includes a six-fielded-panel door with glazed upper panels and a double-keyed lintel, flanked by metal casement windows. The service wing has a garage door on the left and another six-fielded-panel door with glazed upper panels and a keyed lintel on the right. The first floor features metal casements throughout. The building has gable coping, shaped kneelers, and rebuilt stacks at the ends.
