Description
No 10 Westgate is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high, constructed from coursed stone with a pantile roof. The roof features stone coped gable ends with kneelers, and there are brick stacks at both gable ends. The building has rusticated quoins and two windows on each floor, which have stone lintels and keystones, and no glazing bars. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and is topped by a narrow rectangular fanlight, also featuring a stone lintel with a keystone. There is a stone plinth at the base of the building.
This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 22 (consecutive), 23A and 23B, Nos 24 to 29 (consecutive), storage premises to the left of Nos 28 and 29, and Nos 30 to 37 (consecutive), along with 37A and Nos 38 to 69 (consecutive).
