Description
This is a barn and byre range located approximately 5 metres west of East End Manor, dating from the mid-17th century and restored after 1971. It is constructed from coursed squared gritstone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The main range has five bays, with a recessed bay on the right. The building includes quoins and double board doors for the cart entrance in bay 2, which has a raised wooden lintel. The end byre doors have quoined jambs and large lintels. The gable ends are adorned with bulbous kneelers and gable copings. The right bay has external steps, likely rebuilt, leading to a first-floor doorway.
