Description
This outbuilding, which includes a dovecot, is located to the south of Thirsk Hall and dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of reddish-brown brick made locally and features a slate roof, with a more recent hipped roof over the dovecot section. The building is two storeys high, while the dovecot rises to three storeys. The two-storey section has three bays, with two sash windows featuring glazing bars on the ground floor to the west; other former openings have been blocked. The three-storey section includes a carriage entrance, and the dovecot is topped with a weathervane.
