Description

This is a late 18th-century house on the west side of Kirkgate in Thirsk. It is constructed of local reddish-brown brick with a pantile roof. The building is three storeys high and has two bays. The entrance, on the left side, features a panelled door set within a wooden doorcase, which has a moulded architrave and a triangular pediment. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within flush wooden window frames, each with gauged brick heads and stucco sills.
