Description

11a Hurgill Road is a Grade II listed building, part of an early 19th-century range of small stone houses that are set back from the road, featuring gardens in front and creating two sides of a small square. It shares the same construction style as No 11. The building is three storeys high and constructed from uncoursed rubble, with a rendered finish and a gabled front. The windows exhibit irregular spacing and lack glazing bars. There is a late 19th-century oriel window inserted on the first floor, and the entrance features a wooden doorcase with a pediment and a plain fanlight. Nos 1 to 11a (odd) form a group.
