Description

37 Bridewell Street is a Grade II listed building that was originally part of a pair of early 19th century cottages. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, standing two storeys tall. It features a three-window range on the first storey and a four-window range on the ground storey. At the south end, there is a small 19th century shop window. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, which have small upper sashes. The roof is covered with slate. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 30 to 34, 37 to 44, the Red Lion Inn, and Nos 46 to 48, along with Nos 1 to 8 and Nos 13 to 15.
