Description

No 38 on Bridewell Street is an early 19th-century house that is timber-framed and plastered. It has two storeys and features a three-window range with double-hung sashes that have single vertical glazing bars. The ground floor includes a 19th-century shopfront, and there is a carriageway at the south end that has been converted into a garage. The roof is covered with slate.
