Description

Callis House is an early 19th century house made of white gault brick, which has been colourwashed. It features double gables on both the north and south ends and is two storeys tall. The house has a three-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars, set in plain reveals. The central window is adorned with pilasters and an open pediment supported by console brackets. A central gabled porch, which is from the 20th century, projects from the front and has a six-panel door. The roof is double-pitched and covered with slate. All the listed buildings on Callis Street are part of a group.
