Description

Three houses, now a house and two shops, dating from the early 19th century, with later 19th and 20th-century alterations. The houses are built of variegated brick in Flemish bond, with a pantile roof. They have a three-storey, three-window facade. Number 8, on the right, contains a glazed shop door approached by stone steps, incorporated into a 20th-century shop front with a plate glass window. Numbers 10 and 12 have six-panel doors with overlights, also approached by stone steps. Number 10 features a 19th-century shop window with glazing bars that project over the panel risers to the left of the door. Number 12 has four-pane sashes with painted wedge lintels and stone sills on the ground and first floors. The remaining first-floor windows are 16-pane sashes. The second-floor windows throughout are squat eight-pane sashes, all with painted wedge lintels and sills. End and centre left stacks are present.
