Description

ELLERBECK A 684 SE 49 NW (north side) 2/12 Little Bridge Farmhouse 31 3.70 - II Farmhouse. C17 and early C19. Coursed and herringboned rubble, coursed squared stone, ashlar, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Left-hand bay C19 and of coursed squared stone. To right of left-hand bay a half-glazed door in plain surround. All windows are C19 3-light casements, those to left bay have stone sills, those to right-hand bays set in the remains of C17 chamfered surrounds. To left of central bay on each floor is a small round opening in an ashlar surround, that to ground floor is diamond shaped, that above square. Right-hand bays have 3 courses of ashlar below eaves level. Shaped kneelers, stone coping, end stacks and one to ridge.
