Description
North Webstone House and Webstone House are two houses located on Thimbleby Main Street, dating from the early 17th century with later alterations. They are constructed of ashlar stone and have a machine tile roof. Each house is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with a one-storey, one-bay addition on the right side.
North Webstone House, situated on the left, features a board door positioned far to the right. Webstone House has a central blocked doorway. The one-storey bay to the right includes a board door on the left and a side-sliding 12-pane sash window to the right. On the ground floor, Webstone House has three-light 20th-century casements set in 19th-century openings, while North Webstone House has square 20th-century casements, all with stone sills.
On the first floor, each house has two three-light chamfered mullioned windows. The buildings are adorned with shaped kneelers and stone coping, and they feature end stacks as well as two stacks along the ridge.
