Description

North Farmhouse, also known as Home Firm, is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features pantile roofs. The building has two storeys and three bays. A 20th-century door is located in a plain surround to the left of the right-hand bay. All windows are 20th-century casements with three lights, but they maintain the original openings, which include stone sills and large lintels with double keystones. The farmhouse has an eaves band, shaped kneelers, stone coping, and end stacks, with one stack located at the ridge.
