Description

28 Market Place is a three-storey brick building from the 18th century. Only the quoins, roof, and top storey window frames remain intact. It features an old stone roof with brick stacks and is finished in painted brick. The building has a moulded cornice and a low parapet, with rusticated quoins. There are three windows with moulded stone surrounds and cills on tabs, but no glazing bars. A modern oriel window is present on the first floor, and the ground floor has a modern shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 24 to 35 Market Place.
