Description

31 and 32 Market Place is a late 18th-century building. It is constructed of painted brick with a stone slate roof. The building features a three-sided bay window, with a window on each face. These windows have no glazing bars, and each side of the bay includes a blind round lunette on each storey. Bands are present at the window cills. The building originally had a late 19th-century shop front on the ground floor, which has since been replaced with a modern shop. The ground floor to the left of the building has been altered and is now faced with red brick. Nos 24 to 35 Market Place form a group.
