Description

This is an 18th-century building comprising two properties, 55 and 56 Broad Street. The building is constructed of red brick; number 55 has been painted and features quoins. It rises to three storeys and has five windows. The windows are sash windows, with two of them containing glazing bars. They are topped with stucco lintels. A heavy, moulded, dentilled eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, above which is a steeply pitched slate roof. The ground floors have been converted to modern shops.
