Description

Number 5 on Broad Street is a 17th-century building with some alterations. It has two storeys and an attic, constructed of stucco with a slate roof that features a barge board adorned with pierced quatrefoils, pediments, and a finial. The attic contains a sash window with a moulded architrave and decorative billet ornament above. On the first floor, there are three-light curved sash windows set in segmental bows. The northwest corner of the building is splayed and supported by a corbel. At the rear, there is said to be an original doorway and window with a solid moulded frame. A large modern shop occupies part of the building.
