Description
This listing covers Nos 1 and 2 Broad Street, dating to around 1560, with alterations in the 18th century. The building comprises two parallel blocks, each three storeys high and featuring hipped slate roofs. The facades are stuccoed with rusticated quoins. Each block has four sash windows with architraves having moulded edges. A dormer window is present on the right-hand block. An old brick external chimney is located at the North end of the building. Modern shop fronts have been installed. Nos 1 to 5 Broad Street are considered to form a group.
