Description
This is a late 18th-century shop with living accommodation above. The building is constructed of dressed stone with a pantile roof, and features a single raised and coped gable with kneelers, as well as a single brick chimney stack. It is three storeys high. The ground floor contains a 20th-century shopfront with a central door, and a large sash window to the right and a smaller sash window to the left. The upper floors each have two narrower sash windows. In 2005, planning permission was granted to separate a rear wing from the main building, creating the address 1 Lockeys Yard, which now forms a separate unit but remains part of the listed building.
