Description

The K6 telephone kiosk is a standard design from around 1935, created by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. It is made of red painted cast iron and has a square shape with a domed top and unperforated crowns on the top panels. The kiosk is located next to a public house on the main road in the village of Eastby, within a conservation area and visible from several listed buildings. Its position in a significant heritage location contributes to its importance.
