SE 18 NW SPENNITHORNE MAIN STREET (East Side) 3/113 Railings and gates enclosing Chaytor memorial, abutting west tower of Church of St Michael

GV II

Railings and gates. C19. Cast iron. 5-sided plan to enclosure. 4-sided ashlar base supporting railings, the bars with square bases surmounted by circles, with finials, connected by a horizontal rail, from which rise iron- twist bars at mid-points, joined at top in semi-circles, from apex of which rise finials connected by a horizontal rail. Octagonal interval columns. On fifth side, pair of gates matching railings.
